Transliteration of Salname-i Hadika and Salname-i Ebuzziya

Salname-annual- is a word that was designed and published summary which were contained , in general, of a year or all events of the past years, all kinds of performance, statistical, trade, art, economical, historical, scientific and biographical information. Transliteration and our assessment of H. 1290 (M.1873) dated Salname-i Hadika, Ebüzziya Mehmed Tevfik Bey?s first salname, rather almanac.It was the first Almanac published in Turkey. His Salname was published as a ?zamime-i seneviye ? ,it was his own phrase, in the journal of Hadika. It, that included some articles and informations published in the journal of Hadika, mentioned about the domestic policy of eleven years and the political events of one year. In the salname that several articles were in on, the papers were published about the subjects and laws related to literature, history, geography, especially on the history of printing and the pres-the wide information about the history of our first newspapers were given. It was an important work in terms of determining the events of the era, and points of interest, the public pry issues and to indicate the level of the country. Salname-i Ebüzziya was the second work of Mr. Ebuzziya Tevfik on this issue. He published this work in H.1296 (M.1879) . When we look at the work , especially fifty ? page introduction have been interesting, and ?Maarif-i Umûmiyye?- Ministry of Education, was criticized. In addition, ıt was emphasised on,detailly, the first salname-annual- and almanac published place and their difference.
