The reflection of the creed-based attitudes of the commentators on the hadith commentaries -example of Fath al-Bari-

The commentary literature, which creates a rich heritage in Islamic literature, has undertaken the task of being a bridge that transfers the scientific heritage between generations. The commentaries vary in terms of their structural features and the information they contain. Considered one of the most important commentaries with rich content, Ibn Hajar's Fethu'l-Bârî, written in the 9th century Hijri, is one of the richest commentaries that try to explain the hadith in all its aspects. In this context, it is a work that contains more than enough examples of the theological attitudes of the commentator. In our study, the points where Ibn Hajar reflects on his creed in the commentary, the intensity of the creed in the commentary, and the positive or negative contributions of the theological approaches to the comprehension/explanation activity are discussed. The explanations based on the creed that Ibn Hajar gives in and out of the text contribute to the understanding and interpretation of the hadiths. Ibn Hajar put forward his creed in different ways in addition to different practices in the explanation of hadiths indicates that he tried to reveal the meaning of the hadith in all its aspects and that he had the idea that the text can only be understood correctly within the framework of a certain creed.
