Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, the harmony between the Sephardic songs so called Kantika and the universal Lied form is examined and twelve specific Kantika arragements are presented. In the first part, Jews in the history of the World, Anatolia, Spain, Ottoman and in the Turkish Republic with Jews in Izmir, Ladino, Sephardic Kitchen, weddings, ceremonies, Sabath and holidays are explained. In the second part, the technical and esthetic peculiarities of the Sephardic songs are explained.
