Abstract (EN)
The technological developments have been advancing very quickly the 21 st century we are living in Printing, which has had its share of this progress, is applied on the packaging of almost all products used in daily life Screen printing processes have progressed to the present by devoloping throughout history. Researchers have been done on the historical development of printing, its place and importance in art, and its situation in Turkish painting. The works of the artists who produced works in the art of screen printing, have been interpreted by taking the views of the artists about the use of screen printing have been examined. Examples from the works of Turkish painters who made figure abstractions in the art of screen painting have been examined. Practical studies on the subject have been explained as technique and form of expression. The sources related to the purpose of the thesis topic were examined and the document scanning model was used as one of the qualitive research methods. Key words: Printmaking, screen printing art, figurative abstraction.
