Özet (EN)

The negative country conditions during the period of time generally in which the individual lives are effective in their turning in on themselves and losing his interest in external developments. Authors, who are members of the society, while constructing their novels, sometimes directly and indirectly convey the destruction caused by the dominant chaotic atmosphere over the inner world of the individual. In this respect, when the Servet-i Fünûn and September 12 novels, which form the basis of our study, are considered, it is seen that the narrative characters have negative tendencies in both works of the period. In all of the twenty novels we have discussed, other important persons, especially the main characters, are also under the influence of disturbing feelings. It is seen that the internal tendencies seen in the novels examined with a comparative and analytical perspective are in close contact with the conjuncture of the period. Both the novels of Serfet-i Fünûn, which is the literary formation of the 2nd Abdulhamid period, and the works that deal with the 80's before and after the coup, become visible as the product of the conditions under which they were affected. Although it emerged in different time periods, the commonality of the novel characters in their attitudes shows that the turbulent processes leave similar these traces. traces in the spiritual realm of the individual. In our study, it has been tried to reach judgments on a general scale by emphasizing the causes and consequences of these traces.
