Bull cult of Early Bronze Age at Seyitömer Mound

In this study, in order to understand the Early Bronze Age Bull Cult in the Seyitömer Mound which is within the boundaries of the reserve area of Kütahya, Çelikler Seyitömer Electricity Production Inc, in consequence of excavations it is examined to bull figurines and quarries in places. Due to its location, Seyitömer Mound contains finds showing that it is one of the important legs of the bridge between Anatolia and Mesopotamia. Especially the seals found in the palace structure belonging to the Early Bronze Age III B phase of Seyitömer Mound and the other finds (metal needles, beads) are among the items of Mesopotamia Especially the Mound found in the palace structure belonging to the Early Bronze Age III B phase of Seyitömer Mound and the other finds (metal needles, beads) are among the items of Mesopotamia also, one of the architectural elements of the Early Bronze Age III layer, the hearths are among the elements that make up the West Anatolian foot. It is possible to say that Seyitömer Mound has such a strategic stance as the basis for the production of dense ceramics produced in dense molds, kilns and workshops in the Early Bronze Age III levels. The bull figurines and kilns examined in the study constitute enough data to mention the presence of a bull cult in the Early Bronze Age III layer of the Seyitömer Mound.
