Abstract (EN)
In civil aviation companies, employees' attitudes towards work and level of knitting are important factors affecting productivity and service quality. For this reason, modern management approaches have to investigate the factors that affect the job satisfaction and organizational commitment of employees and to learn the results. In this study, the relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment of ground handling personel working in civil airline companies and the variables affecting job satisfaction and organizational commitment of employees were investigated. Relational screening method was used as a quantitative research method and "Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale" and "Organizational Commitment Scale" were applied to ground handling personnel working at Atatürk Airport in Istanbul Province between December 12, 2017 and January 30, 2018. As a result of the research, a significant correlation was found between the internal satisfaction, external satisfaction, emotional commitment and continuing loyalty of the ground service employees in the civil airline operation. In addition, significant differences were found according to the age, marital status, education and the sections they worked and the year they worked. In line with the results of the study, proposals have also been developed for those working in civil aviation operations.
