Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, after investigating the general historical development of hightemperature superconductors, the design of AC susceptometer was made. Afterdesign, we studied on AC characteristic of Bi1.6Pb0.4Sr2Ca2-xSmxCu3Oy with Smsubstitution for (x=0, x=0.0005 x=0.001 x=0.005). We obtained imaginary and realdate by using home-made AC susceptometer. Critical current density Jc versuscritical temperature Tc behaviour studied by using Bean Model and it seem thatcritical temperature of sample Bi1.6Pb0.4Sr2Ca2-xSmxCu3Oy with Sm substitution isdecreasing with increasing of Sm substitution and critical current of sampleBi1.6Pb0.4Sr2Ca2-xSmxCu3Oy is decreasing with increasing of Sm substitution. At thatcritical current decreasing was seen at first substitution.
