Özet (EN)
The aim of this research is to determine the satisfaction levels of teacher candidates for the use of virtual museums, and also to determine the differences between the satisfaction levels of teacher candidates for the use of virtual museums according to their demographic characteristics. The research was designed in a descriptive study pattern based on the general survey model. 190 female and 53 male students studying in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades of Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University, Faculty of Education, Department of Classroom Teaching in the fall and spring semesters of 2019-2020 participated in the study. Due to the Covid19 epidemic, the study was carried out online, information was given about virtual museums, lesson plans were presented and sample virtual museum visits were made. The personal information form and the virtual museum virtual tour satisfaction scale, which was adapted and developed into Turkish by Teker and Özer (2016), were used as data collection tools. As a result of the research, it was determined that the general satisfaction level for the use of virtual museums was low, and the opinions of female students were higher than the opinions of male students in the sub-dimension of the usability of the virtual environment in terms of gender. Statistically significant differences were found between the students' satisfaction level of the virtual environment, the usability of the virtual environment sub-dimensions, and the general satisfaction levels for the use of virtual museums in terms of age, grade level, average internet usage time excluding online lessons. The results indicate that there are meaningful differences between the virtual museum virtual tour satisfaction scale scores of primary school teacher candidates, who constitute the sample group of the research, and their gender, age, class level, average internet usage time excluding online lessons; depending on their individual differences, socio-demographic and socio-cultural reasons.
