Abstract (EN)
Many religion aim to regulate social life. While the social rules that individuals need to follow are considered as part of religion, the transfer of these rules to individuals is also considered as the duty of religious education. Because the task of religious education is to teach not only theological and metaphysica laspects of religion but also the rules about moral and a social behavior. The fact that the individual has a healthy social life, the awareness of national unity and solidarity, contributing to social peace, learning social moral values andvalues mostly depend on religious education. At this point, non-formal and formal religious education institutions, which are the most effective institutions in gaining the right attitudes and behaviors of the individual, become more important. Therefore, it is important to scientifically examine the contribution and impact of religious education to social life. In this study, the contribution of religious education to social life has been considered by considering the data and suggestions of the related sciences in accordance with the interdisciplinary understanding. Does education in general and religious education in particular contribute to the life of individuals in the socialization process? If so, in what ways does it contribute? What kind of duties fall on religion, education and religious education in the formation of social unity? By searching for answers to such questions, it was tried to provide an opening especially in terms of contribution to the religious education of today.
