Evaluation of hearing aid satisfaction of individuals with hearing loss according to socioeconomic status

This study aims to evaluate the satisfaction level of hearing aid users with the SADL questionnaire according to socioeconomic level. 100 hearing aid users between the ages of 18-65 with sensorineural hearing loss who used hearing aids regularly for more than 6 months participated in the study. When the factor analysis of the questionnaire was performed, factor loads for positive effects ranged from 0.744 to 0.854, personal image and appearance ranged from 0.62 to 0.985 for negative features sub-dimension, while factor load for cost sub-dimension was found to be 0.983. According to the results of the analysis, satisfaction with the device increases as the monthly income increases, the level of education increases and the duration of use of the device increases.
