Abstract (EN)

Ordinal logistic regression model is the logistic regression method applied when the response variable is ordinal. The ordinal response variable contains values observed in at least three categories (mild-moderate-severe, etc.). In ordinal logistic regression analysis, parameter estimations are made according to the weighted least squares method. While determining the most suitable logit models, the number of binary combinations of the number of categories is defined and the parallelism of these sub-models are analyzed or by taking the response variable with the highest value as reference, Logit models are obtained according to this reference and analysis is performed. In this study, an application was performed by examining the Ordinal logistic regression model. As a material, the data obtained from the survey study applied to 540 health vocational high school students were used. From this data set; 12 variables were selected, one of them is response or output variable (satisfaction level: Not satisfied, satisfied, and very satisfied). In conclusion, it is stated that this thesis will contribute to the literature in terms of examining the ordinal logistic regression model with an application.
