In this study, the curriculum used in driving schools of Ministry of Education isevaluated by using Stufflebeam?s context, input, process, and product (CIPP) model.This study includes a sample group of a five hundred people who are chosen with asimple arbitrary sampling method, and who are among the 50096 people who have Bclass driver?s license according to 30.03.2009 dated data of Police Office and TrafficRegistration and Inspection Department in Bolu City Center. People who haveparticipated in this study have been applied a form that is appropriately developedaccording to Stufflebeam?s context, input, process and product (CIPP) evaluation model,by researcher. When the data obtained from this form has been analyzed, followingresults have emerged:1) In the curriculum, it is concluded that balancing the knowledge and skills relatedto Traffic and Enviroment, First Aid, Steering, Engine and Vehicle Techniques,making permanent units in these lessons in individuals, making people gainnecessary habits in terms of traffic and traffic safety, the harmony between thedifficulty degree of lessons and subjects and the time, and the sufficiency of thetotal time of the curriculum were not enough.2) It is concluded that all the subjects and units in the Traffic and Enviromentknowledge, First Aid and Steering education lessons are absolutely necessary,all the subjects and units in the Engine and Vehicle Techniques lesson werenecessary.3) It is concluded that all the knowledge and skills related to Engine and VehicleTechnique, First Aid knowledge and Steering can?t be gained by using existingdriver education program, all knowledge and skills related to Traffic andEnviroment knowledge can be gained partially by by using existing drivereducation program.4) It is concluded that existing program can?t comprehend the importance of rulesrelated to traffic an traffic safety, can?t make individuals gain courage, selfconfidenceand driving experience, can?t meet the expectations of society andindividuals about traffic safety, can?t make the individuals gain the habits oftraffic safety, and alsocan?t maket he individuals gain the knowledge and skillsrelated to engine breakdown, accident case, bada ir and road conditions that theycan meet in real world.5) In the light of the information that has been obtained, in this study, somesuggestions have been made for the fulfillment of the deficiencies of thecurriculum used in driving courses of the Ministry of Education.Key words: Driver Education Curriculum, Stufflebeam?s Evaluation Model, B ClassDriving Licence.
