Süleyman Sudi's detective novels

In this study, detective novels of Süleyman Sûdî such as Çilingirin Esrarı, Gece Kuşları and Milli Cinâyât Koleksiyonu were structurally examined, while taking into account Ottoman-Turkish detective novels properties. The novel Çilingirin Esrarı was published in 1914 by Cemiyet Library with Arabic script. This edition was used for this study. The novel Gece Kuşları was published by Seval Şahin. Milli Cinâyât Koleksiyonu was published by Didem Ardalı Büyükarman. In this study information about the life and works of Süleyman Sûdî has been provided. In addition to that the topic of Ottoman-Turkish detective novels has been covered. In conclusions three novels of Süleyman Sûdî were compared while the differences western detective novels have been put into account.
