Abstract (EN)

The development of the industry with the technological improvements, the increase in the population and the rapid consumption have started to consume natural resources by destroying. Created pollution in vital areas such as water, soil, air has damaged natural sources and have made it difficult for the environment to renew itself. All these developments have made negative externalities on the environment. Governments carry out local, national and international studies in order to prevent negative externalities and harmful activities thus environmental pollution is tried to prevent by means of conferences, seminars and agreements accordingly. In today's conditions, it has been realized that traditional methods cannot provide successful results in achieving the ultimate goal of countries. However, it has been realized that it can be achieved through new practices and policies which prevent or eliminate the negative externalities of growth and development related to environment, do not harm ecosystem and long-term sustainable development models. It has been foreseen that governments should know development and development studies can be carried out with conscious policies, taking into account the protection of the environment in the long term.
