Abstract (EN)
Everything that is sustainable must be based on a resource and to ensure this the source should also be sustainable. In this context, the sustainability and safety of resources are essential for the sustainability of development and welfare. However, the earth is threatened by human-oriented degradation. In terms of sustainable development, energy is now in a difficult dilemma because of the fossil fuels used today. The use of fossil fuels, which is inevitable in economic production, on the other hand, is the main cause of environmental degradation and climate change. This situation puts the global community in serious trouble to reach the basic goals of Sustainable Development. The aim of this study is to address all aspects of sustainable development and energy and to question the role of energy in Sustainable Development. The Sustainable Development approach, which aims at leaving a livable world for future generations, must overcome its dilemma with energy in order to achieve its goals.
