Abstract (EN)

Syrian refugees' risk long-term displacement due to the conflict's inability to be resolved, which necessitates the development of long-term, sustainable programs to assist them in maintaining their lives. Among the countries that have been affected by the Syrian migration are Jordan, Lebanon, and Turkey. The purpose of this dissertation is to investigate the Syrian conflict and its economic and social repercussions. It focuses on the implications for host countries and their policies and the most prominent services given by host countries to Syrian refugees, such as education, healthcare services, and economic assistance, among other things. It also examines the many types of agreements that have taken place between host countries and the international community to reduce the refugee crisis. The data for this study was gathered through scholarly articles, books, and websites. According to the research findings, policies adopted by some countries, such as Jordan and Lebanon, are short-lived and ineffective in assisting refugees. In contrast, policies adopted by others, such as Turkey, have proven successful in assisting refugees by accommodating a large number of Syrians and providing essential services. According to the findings, Jordan and Lebanon have a policy of pressuring the European Union for financial assistance. In contrast, Turkey relied on the 2016 Agreement, which was based on the exchange of refugees registered between the European Union and Turkey, to obtain financial assistance from the European Union.
