Abstract (EN)

Aim: The aim of the research is to teach badminton with the tactical game model. Materials and Methods: The research was conducted in a quasi-experimental model with a pretest-posttest control group, which is one of the quantitative research methods. The study group consisted of a total of 40 participants, 20 experimental and 20 control, studying in the field of Sports Sciences. "Personal Information Form", "Badminton Achievement Test" and "Game Performance Evaluation Scale" were used as data collection tools. In the evaluation of the data, interobserver reliability analysis was performed with the help of 5 observers who are experts in their field. In the analysis of the data, dependent groups t test and independent groups t test were applied. Covariance (ANCOVA) analysis technique was used to test the significance of the difference between groups. Results: Pretest scores are an important predictor of posttest scores, it has been observed that they alone explain 61% of the change in posttest scores. At the end of the application, an increase was observed in the posttests of both groups in the cognitive domain. When the pre-test and status of being a national athlete were kept constant, it was determined that badminton teaching practice explained 43.8% of the change between pre-test and post-test scores. When the game performance scores of the groups were examined, a statistically significant difference was detected between DOM and TOM in favor of TOM. Conclusion: The presence of the national athlete in the study did not have a significant effect on the selected independent variables, but there was a single-interval difference in the continuous presence status (pretest scores) depending on the independent variable selected in the interval. However, within the framework of the controls of nationality status and pre-test scores, it is found that the change in the independent variable (TOM) on the dependent variable is significant.
