Abstract (EN)
The perception of space started up in the wake of accommodation, has been changing in the effect of culture and technology as time goes by. In the time of improvement, spaces have gained conception of location(locus) as well as identification and belonging. Spaces, have been gaining meaning via their locations. The concept of spatial memory, grown out of perception of location, occurs through observing indicators. Conserving the indicators is mostly important for historical and cultural sustainability of the buildings, as it is for their spatial memory. For this reason, it is very important of saving the indicators enrich to the historical buildings, during the restoration, renovation and conversion. It is worked up to ensure sustainability of the valuable factors in historical buildings, emphasizing the designing parameters related to protect of indicators of spatial memory in this thesis. SEKA "the Museum of Paper and Information Center" which was commissioned in these lights of the study was examined in the concern of interior and local memory in the historical structures. Consequently, this study will guide to those who work on mentioned above.
