Abstract (EN)

The novel, which deals with the lived or possible cases that people have experienced, is the type of narration of modern times. The first examples of the genre, in which social, political and cultural experiences are reflected, are encountered at the end of the 16th century. The novel, which develops over time, presents vivid examples of life to the reader with its unique language and breadth of volume. The transition from the traditional novel to the postmodern novel begins in the second half of the 20th century. This literary movement fragmentation, which emerged with the rejection of classical narrative elements, allows many events intertwined with complex narrative styles to be fictionalized. Tarık Tufan also constructs his works by making use of this trend, where deviations are experienced in time, a pluralistic perspective is created, and its usage area is expanded by creating various spaces in the mind of the reader. Tarık Tufan, who started his literary career with the Stuttering Children's Choir in 2000, came to the forefront with his novel writing as well as radio and television programming; He also contributes to the world of literature by producing works in the genres of short stories and essays. In the first part of the study, the structural elements such as the name-content relationship, the plot, the narrator and the point of view, time, place, cast of the author's novels Stuttering Children's Choir, And You Become a Bird, Imagination Meyal, Champs Elysées Wedding Hall, Falling, Lost, Late Remaining. examined in terms of In the second part, the thematic reflections of the works in which the themes of loneliness, death, alienation and love come to the fore were analyzed. In the third part, the nature of various techniques that increase the power of the genre-specific expression style was mentioned and their use in the works was determined; thus, the features that make the language and style of the artist clear were revealed and supported with examples.
