Abstract (EN)
Objective: It is aimed to investigate in vitro cytological, biochemical and pharmacological effects of pioglitazone on mouse brain cell line (NB2a) for the first time. In addition, no research has been found in the literature on whether pioglitazone, tested in the thesis, suppresses proliferation in brain tumor cells. Material and method: In our study, pioglitazone was added to the culture medium at various concentrations the effects on cell proliferation were determined using 3- (4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl) -2,5-diphenytetrazolium bromide (MTT) method. Results:Our findings show that these compounds have the antioxidant activity at low concentrations and cytotoxic effects at high concentrations. Conclusion: Neurotoxic effect of these molecules to produce the damage to neurons can be prevented with PG and toxic substances on the central nervous system, and the nature of the damage created in the araştırılacağı treatment of damage occurred to preventing the development of damage with the the presence of an output for auxiliary treatment for source. Key words: NB2a, MTT, neurotoxicity, chlorpirofos, apoptosis, neurotoxicity screening test.
