Abstract (EN)
This article explores the relationship between trade openness and financial development in the Next 11 developing economies with substantial potential to contribute to the world economy. The econometric model is used to determine the value of different levels of trade openness on the financial sector development outcome in these nations, based on the panel data from 1992 to 2021. The independent variables include trade openness, globalization, GDP per capita and technological innovation. The Financial Development Index takes part and they are the main dependent variables. Evidence suggests that trade openness enhances the ability of domestic firms to receive foreign capital; expands investment channels; and raises financial sector competition, which are all conducive to financial development. The other variables, such as globalization, technical innovation and economic success are also positively associated with financial development, thereby suggesting a cumulative effect of one financial progress promoting further progress. The central tenets of policy recommendations include easing trade restrictions, promoting international integration, funding technical developments and promoting inclusive economic prosperity. This research provides useful information to policymakers in emerging economies for promoting a healthy financial sector by increasing trade openness and global connectivity.
