Özet (EN)
There are 6 species of the Liliaceae family, which grows naturally in Turkey. The most common of these is Lilium candidum. Lilium akkusianum is an endemic species that grows in Akkuş district of Ordu province and Tokat's high parts which are bounded to this district. The aim of this study was to investigate the phenological and morphological characteristics of Lilium candidum and Lilium akkusianum species in Tokat ecological conditions. The material of the study was provided from Ataturk Horticultural Central Research Institute. The supplied bulbs were sowed on 9 October 2015. Species are compared morphologically based on UPOV (International Association for Protection of New Plant Varieties) criteria. According to UPOV criteria, species were examined in terms of 39 properties. Phenological and morphological differences between two species were characterized. L. candidum showed earlier flowering than L.akkusianum. Similarly, L.candidum was taller than L.akkusianum. In terms of number of flowers, more flowers were observed in L.candidum.
