Abstract (EN)
Loan that comes to the meaning of believe, trust in Latin is among the most important parts of banking sector. Just Consumer loans and directed loans have been used for this study from loan types seperated into various groups.Without looking for commercial aim, consumer loan is a kind of loan that is provided to consumers in purchasing property and service. As a result of financial policies created in today?s economy banking loans as a defining factor of marketing economy and rately rising of consumer loans each passing day through using advertisement, announcement and mass communication devices by encouraging usage increases the importance of this kind of loan rapidly. In Turkey Developing Report prepared by European Commission, the main reason of economic rising in 2003 from 5.8% to 8.9% in 2004 in Turkey has been shown as fast dropping interest rates caused rising in consuming expenditures which are supported by consumer loans, and this indicates the importance of the impact of consumer loans on economy.Another loan type used in this study is directed loans. Directed loans is a kind of loan marketed in a certain specialty an in general a big part of loan payment is carried out according to incomes which are obtained by bankrolled physical havings.The aim of this study is to determine the effect of consumer loan and directed loan marketed in Turkey on some macroeconomic indications. With this aim the effect of consumer loans and directed loans given by Turkish Finance System on Turkey?s macroeconomic indications with the help of multiple regression analysis in 1985-2008, is examined. In this study as macroeconomic indications; consumer price index, gross domestic product growth, investment, import and exchange rate are chosen. In the analysis dependent and independent variables with their logarithmic values have been used and all the samples have been set up in log-log form. After the applied analysis it has been concluded that consumer and directed loans have raising impact on chosen macroeconomic indications and for this reason gross domestic product growth ,investment and import affect the country?s economy positively but due to its raising effect on consumer price index (inflation) and exchange rate it affects the country?s economy in a negative way.Keywords: Financial System, Loan, Loan Types, Consumer Loans, Directed Loans, Macroeconomic Indications, Regression Analysis.
