Abstract (EN)

Within the scope of this study, it is aimed to investigate the effect of organizational communication on job performance and job satisfaction in terms of employees working in tourism companies. In the study, quantitative research technique was used. In this regard, an online survey was made on 252 participants between 5th of November 2021 and 25th of July 2022 via using convenience sampling technique. In the survey, there were used 7 questions about demographical information, Organizational Communication Scale developed by Roberts and O'Reilly (1974) and adapted into Turkish by Yıldırım (2019) with 34 statements, Job Performance Scale developed by Kirkman and Rosen (1999) and adapted into Turkish by Çöl (2008) with 4 statements, and Job Satisfaction Scale developed by Brayfield and Rothe (1951), shortened by Yoon and Thye (2002) and adapted into Turkish by Kuşluvan and Kuşluvan (2005) with 5 statements. In the analysis of research data gathered from sample group, SPSS-23 computer program was used. As the result of analyses made on SPSS-23 computer program, it is found that organizational communication level of tourism companies' employees has positive, significant and mid-level effect on their job performance, and also it has positive, significant and highlevel effect on their job satisfaction.
