Bibliography of Turkish folk poetry anthologies

Anthology is a work composed of selected pieces taken from the works of poets, writers or composers. Anthologies have taken on important tasks in every field since they were created. In our thesis we titled as The Bibliography of Turkish Folk Poetry Anthologies, we have given the bibliographic information of anthologies about the poetry of poets that were in the âşıklık tradition, some kind of minstrelsy in Turkish cultural history. In "Introduction", the term anthology is explained. In the first part; anthology in Western Literature , anthology in Turkish Literature, folk poetry and folk poetry anthologies, information about the anthologies taken as the main source of our thesis is given. In Bibliography part of the second part, a total of 44 folk poetry anthologies were given, the poets and poems included in the content were identified. In "Indeks" section, an index of poet names was created for an easy access to the poets in the anthologies we included in our thesis. The conclusive information reached was given in "Conclusion" of the thesis. In "Bibliography" section, the anthologies that are the subject of the thesis and all the books and articles used in the preparation process are listed.Our thesis is one of the main sources that should be at hand for researches in the field of folk poetry.
