Abstract (EN)
It is undoubted that epic poetries have an important place in our literature and culture because they give information about the darkest ages of the history and tell us the hardship the Turkic tribes went through in a traditional stile and they make a great contribution in the life of nations and the requirements to be deemed a nation.The subject of this study is to analyse the affect of Turkish epic poetries on the modern novel and compare the Turkish fiction and Kyrgyz fiction, considering the fact that Turks and Kyrgyz were two different Turkic tribes. However, because of the fact that these elements reveal many folkloric, ethical and religious features of the nations, it is needed to make use of different disciplines.Revealing the common and different sides of Turks and Kyrgyz community, this thesis also presents the artisans? approach and evaluations. Mutual understanding, ethical, folkloric and ethical elements, customs and traditions have been handled in an epic view.In total four novels, two of which are by two different Turkish authors and one of which is by a Kyrgyz author are important Works because they are extraordinary Works and they refresh our national memory.
