Abstract (EN)
This thesis, named "Dark Fantasy in Turkish Novel", has drawn the theoretical boundaries of the genre by examining in the context of mythology, psychoanalysis, folklore, modernism, popular literature and body fiction in an interdisciplinary framework. Genres with commonalities such as fantasy, gothic, horror, black literature, science fiction, dystopia and detective are defined and explained; It has been suggested that dark fantasy is an independent genre by revealing its differences from the above-mentioned genres.
