Abstract (EN)

The issue of women's participation in politics, which is one of the current debates, is a matter of democracy. Women are left behind in political life norms that have been transferred from the past to the present. In this study, the fact that women are in the position of object and subject in the political field due to their emotionality, motherhood, and economic and social environment has been examined in a historical and qualitative context. At the end of the research, the main argument aimed at going through the sample of Diyarbakır Mothers is to emphasize the importance of women's political representation and being the decision-maker (subject).
