Özet (EN)

It is possible to say that the leftist thinking and its political movements in Turkey have a remarkable rise between 1960-1980. In these days, the Turkish left has found a response in the intellectual community with its intellectual performance and has begun to attract attention as a political movement by mobilizing a significant number of people in society. However, in the period from 1980 to 2017, this as a political movement has lost the opportunity to have a time in the society. Liberal ideas and themes in general has been the hallmark to Turkey's post-1980 politics and social thought. It is known that in the academy and various intellectual circles it is still possible to speak about a certain weight of the left thinking, but it is also known that the intellectual outputs against the hegemony of the ideas and themes of the liberal thinking has lost its weight which it had in 1960-1980. This study will address the reasons for the loss of effectiveness of leftist thinking and discuss the problem through the socialist thought journal Birikim's criticism for the left in the copies between 1975-1980. Loss of efficacy is usually sought in external development, and the question of what kind of "contributions" the respiratory itself is in the loss of efficacy is overlooked. For this reason, it is useful to look at pre-1980 paternal self-esteem to determine respiratory contributions in respiratory distress. This study will reveal whether the socialist movement has an inner criticism in the Birikim magazine and what kind of problems the socialist movement has regardless of external developments. As can be understood, the purpose of this study was to determine the reasons for the socialist movement's retreat not by looking at what they did after 1980, but by looking at their weaknesses at the best of times. Thus, it would be possible to debate whether a political movement that is concerned is related or unrestricted by its ability to keep pace with developments outside of itself.
