Abstract (EN)
Turkish is the history, civilization, literature, culture which a young girl embroiders on her canvass. No stitch can be ignored in this embroidery, which is weaved by stitching. Foreign language learning is the period of meeting and socializing with the culture of the language which is learned. The place of Dede Korkut Stories is undeniable in this embroidery of Turkish, which is weaved by stitching. Since it is not possible to distinguish between language and culture, it would be appropriate to use Dede Korkut Stories as a material in language teaching. It is impossible not to see the best words of Turkish and cultural codes in these stories, not to read and hear from them. Language teaching is not just teaching basic language skills. The way of living which belongs to the nation of the language taught is hidden in the target language. Our literary text which helps solve this secret is Dede Korkut Stories. The meaning and importance of Dede Korkut Stories, which was added to "Representative List of the World Intangible Cultural Heritage" by UNESCO as the 17th element on 28.11.2018, has increased. This foundation, which is UNESCO, United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, also constitutes a source for the European Language Portfolio. Since the items of the European Language Portfolio are taken into consideration in foreign language teaching, it is considered important to use "Dede Korkut Stories" as materials in accordance with the determined level in teaching Turkish as a foreign language, with appropriate and proper examples. In the study, for the students who learn Turkish as a foreign language, the simplification of the 13 th Epos of the Turkmen Sahara Copy of Dede Korkut Book, Salur Kazan Kills the Seven Headed Dragon, to B1 Level and how to include and with what kinds of activities it can take place in B1 level "Turkish Teaching Set" books have been tried to be shown with examples.
