A comparative analysis of two intralingual translation of Divan-i Hikmet in Turkish and Kazakh language

This study, which examines two intralingual translations of Divân-ı Hikmet in a comparative way, has been prepared to determine the changes at the level of morphem and semantics based on the source thext. In addition to the comparison of intralingual translation of the two texts, main works on Khoja Ahmed Yassawi and Divân-ı Hikmet publised in Turkey and Kazakhstan were examined in terms of content and scope. In the study, in which the comparative analysis method was used, besides the copies and manuscripts of Divân-ı Hikmet, which is the primary source, in the process of literature review through open sources, archives and libraries, main works on Divân-ı Hikmet and Ahmed Yesevî in Turkey and Kazakhstan were examined. In addition, interviews were held with researchers who are experts in their fields both in Turkey and Kazakhstan. In the comparison of the two texts in which the Hikmah were translated to Turkish and Kazakh languages, the changes and differences that emerged in terms of morphology and semantics were determined.
