Özet (EN)

The purpose of this study is to perform a sociological research focusing on predisposition and practices, within a scientific compatibility in accordance with social reality on the social field belonging to Turkey Arabs, the social field on perpetrators of capital, and their position within the social field. In this research, which was dealt with by qualitative research methodology, structured interview form was used, and a sample was conducted to represent both in social field and social sense of the entire Eastern and South Eastern region Arabs live in. In this study, it is concluded that, with an ancient history of Arabs whose contribution to the world civilization has been strong, Turkey Arabs turn out to be an extension of the Arabs who live mainly in the Eastern, South-eastern Anatolia and the Mediterranean region, their age, marital status and occupation conditions are similar to the overall average of Turkey. They give importance to formal education provided by the state, but the ratio of male participation in education and social life is higher than females. They are heavily interested in politics, the rate of political participation is high, election participation rate is above the average of Turkey. Kin marriage is comparatively low. Even though Arabic language is learned first, mostly Turkish is spoken in daily life. They regard themselves as a part of Turkish community and within the Turkish nation. Tribal affiliation is common, most of them are Muslim and belong to Shafii sect and the level of religiosity and regular praying and worshipping is high. They are mostly in favour of rightist and conservative political line and describe themselves as Turkish Republic citizens. Arabs like other Arabs and the Arabic language.
