Abstract (EN)
By benefiting from the unit root test, cointegration, causality and error correctionmethods, this study analyzes the growth, employment, export and import causalrelations in the Turkish manufacturing sector. Structural change happened in early2000?s in industry made Turkish production has became more import dependent. As aresult, Turkish export goods became more labor-intensive however, in production,investment and in employment expected improvements are not seen. Our results showthat positive changes in imports cause growth in manufacturing production andimprovements in exports. However, same improvements are not seen in employment.
