Abstract (EN)
This study consists of four parts. In the first chapter, what is the health economy, what are the health services, what is the health market and what are the characteristics, what is the health services demand and supply functions and how to finance the health services. In the second part, the development of healthcare services in Turkey has been examined during the planned periods. Positive or negative results were analyzed by analyzing the data with the help of the graphs presented at the end of the planned period. In the third part, in the year 2000, health services and health data of the world were compared with the data published by international organizations. This section compares countries using data such as expected life expectancy at birth, infant mortality rates, which are important for health. In the fourth and last section, the input-output tables were used to try to explain the health sector's place in Turkey in the light of the preliminary analyzes.
