Health management education in Turkey and self assessment of graduate students

Purpose of this research, Graduate students in Turkey Hospitals and Health Institutions of National Qualifications Framework For Higher Education In Turkey (NQF-HETR) determined in accordance with the output line, based on their own opinions, determination of benefits from their education and evaluation of programs. The self-assesment form prepared in line with the purpose of the study was applied to the graduate students who are actively in Beykent University Institute of Social Sciences Hospital and Health Institutions Administration in the academic year of 2017-2018. As a result of the application made, the answers given by the students were evaluated by the phenomenological study design from the qualitative data evaluation designs. As a result of the study, it was seen that foreign language skills were low in the graduate students. It is suggested that studies should be made that will increase the motivation of foreign language learning fort he sudents with in the education program. It has been determined that the vast majority of participants postgraduate goal is to have a career in managerial positions. It is foreseen that a policy of the Postgraduate Program of Hospitals and Health Institutions is required for the students who have undergraduate education in different fields to be able to master the terms of health services and to have knowledge about the health legislation.
