Unemployment and labor market policies in the European Union and Turkey

This study has been carried out to examine the policies of labour market implemented for dealing with the prolems of unemployment with regards to EU and Turkey. İn this study, unemployment and policies of labour market primarly have been discussed cognitively. Then, the employment policies implemented have been evaluated with the existing form of unemployment and applications in some countries are discussed by touching upon the regularization related to labor marked in EU. Afterwards, labour market in Turkey has been evaluated and the policies of labor market implemented from past to present have been pointed up. Finally, the labour market and policies of labor market having application areas in EU and Turkey have been compared in a general sense and some suggestions are tried to be put forward.
