Özet (EN)

Privacy is a term that debating since the people started to live together. In the historical process, privacy's context has been changed depending to culture and time and now it have importance also in virtual space. Internet based communication technologies grew up since the end of 20th century and bring along a new world. People and foundations of the real world is also representing on virtual space. So, some kind of norms of the real world affects the life in virtual spaces. Privacy and security of the personal informations are some issues in this context. Like rest of the world, most of the social media users are young people in Turkey. So, what is privacy for these young people? Are the youth worry about privacy when using social media and how they think about the tendency? In this study, semi structured interviews has been made with 18 undergraduate and master students, then this interviews interpreted to answer these questions.
