Abstract (EN)
Organizational studies often emphasize that the adoption of strategies and policies by employees, belonging, trust in the institution, and communication with managers increase productivity and job satisfaction. Feeding the employees from the organizational culture and organizational climate enables them to be effective goodwill ambassadors for institutions. Considering the contribution of the employees to the corporate image, it is observed that organizational commitment plays a key role. Employees with high organizational commitment will enable the organization to develop good relations with all its stakeholders, maximize its contribution to society and indirectly gain competitive advantage. In-house public relations studies are important in the development and regulation of the relations established by the organizations with their employees. In this study, the relationship between in-house public relations activities and organizational commitment in higher education institutions was examined by academic staff. For this purpose, the opinions of academic staff of a state and a foundation university were sought and the data obtained from 470 questionnaires were analyzed. Various analyzes were carried out in the SPSS 25 package program and the relationship between how in-house public relations activities were evaluated and organizational commitment levels was revealed.
