Abstract (EN)

This study aims to find out how the students can learn vocabulary through the songs and how the students respond to learning vocabulary through songs. It takes seven months from October to April. The study took place in Mehmet Fehmi Çankaya Primary School with secondary students in Antakya. The study was conducted on 26 students. The students were taught a song each month. This study is a qualitative study based on observations as a teacher diary and interviews. It was found out that the students like the songs and they could easily learn the vocabulary through the songs. It was an amusing study that the students felt motivated. It was also found out that the students could remember the words they had learned. Key Words: Music and Songs, Learning Vocabulary, Enjoyment and Motivation
