Abstract (EN)
Investigation Of Dental Implant Stability At The Mandibula Posterior In The Treatment Of Vitamın D Deficiency With Vitamin D3 (25-Hydroxyolecalciferol) And Vitamin K2 (Menaquinone) by Resonance Frequency Analysis Introduction: Vitamin D is involved in bone metabolism and control of the immune system. In line with this task, it is positively associated with the osteointegration process at the right concentration. Due to these effects, it is of particular importance in implant surgery applications. Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of vitamin D3 and/or vitamin K2 treatment on dental implant stability during osteointegration in patients receiving vitamin D deficiency treatment by routine clinical and radiological evaluations and resonance frequency analysis (RFA). Materials and Methods: 60 patients who did not have any other systemic disease, who were treated in Endocrinology clinics for vitamin D deficiency and who had dental implant indications were included in the study of Dicle University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. These patients will be divided into 2 groups according to vitamin D3 and/or vitamin K2 given in the treatment of vitamin D deficiency. Our study will consist of 3 groups with dental implant indications, the 1st group will be the control group, the 2nd group will be the group receiving treatment only with vitamin D3, the 3rd group will be the group receiving treatment with vitamin D3 + vitamin K2. Before starting implant surgery, radiographic evaluations of the patients will be made, the existing teeth in the mouth will be checked, and endodontal-periodontal treatments, if any, will be completed. On the day of implant surgery, the stability of the implants will be measured with the ISQ value at the 8th week when the implant healing head will be attached and at the 12th week when the measurement will be taken in order to include the implant in the function. After all these evaluations, the data obtained will be compared statistically. Key Words: Vitamin D deficiency, osteointegration, Vitamin D3, Vitamin K2, RFA
