The evaluation WEB based programming languages and performance analysis

ABSTRACT THE EVALUATION OF WEB BASED PROGRAMMING LANGUAGES AND PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS Ferhat BA?ÇACI Firat University Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences Department of Electronic and Computer Science 2005, Page: 112 In this thesis, we examine the methods and the researches about the web based programming languages and it is seen that ASP, PHP and CGI are used mostly for web based programming. Also a general evaluation is given for the examined web based programming languages according to their common features, advantages, disadvantages, working principles, application areas, maintenance, set up conveniences. Moreover, it is compared the web based programming languages according to their working performances with five different application samples which are prepared by us using ASP, PHP and CGI.
