Özet (EN)
Divan poets reflected the cultural circle, in which they are involved as individuals of the society in which they lived, in various aspects to their literary works. They handled the elements of folk culture, sometimes in the form of an instant depiction from the life scene with their aspect in the outside world, and sometimes in order to explain their inner world. Thus, contrary to what is believed, they revealed their ties with society and the public. The XVIIIth century is important because it shows that the mentioned ties have become stronger. Divan literature, which started to turn towards reality, life and feelings of ordinary people with the effect of localization, also got closer with folk literature in the XVIIIth century. The subject of our thesis "folk culture elements" has been limited to XVIIIth century divans by being taken into consideration these features of the period. In line with the couplets/ cantos selected from the divans, the elements that will be evaluated within the scope of folk culture were tried to be determined, and the usage patterns and place of folkloric elements in the poetry of the divan were tried to be given. Transition periods of folk culture elements; folk beliefs; traditions and customs; clothing; culinary culture; formulaic expressions etc. were explained one by one under the titles and detailed with examples. Thanks to the text-centered examination, the point of view of the divan poets on folk culture, their connection with life and society has been tried to be determined. Keywords: XVIIIth century, divan poetry, folk culture, folkloric elements.
