Özet (EN)

Turkey and Greece, two nighboring cuntries, develops thir economic and cultural relations every day. Naturally, the importance of languages is emphasized at this stage and the demand for learning the Turkish language is increasing in Greece. Since Turkish and Greek come from different language families, there are many issues that attract attention and affect the educational process. Apart from syntax and grammar, the importance of the field of Idiomatic is quite important. This master's thesis aims to find ut the Turkish idioms and proverbs related to human body limbs and organs and to identify the equivalence relations in Greek. This thesis subject was selected since it has not been extensively examined in Turkish and Greek written surces previusly. For this study, firstly, varius books have been examined and these relevant idioms and proverbs have been determined. In the following, the Greek idioms and proverbs which are equivalent to these were determined and categorized according to equivalence relations. Similarities and differences are presented both in writing and in tables. Finally, the results of the study were evaluated statistically and theoretically and several recommendations have been made.
