Abstract (EN)

In this research, "New Hitit Turkish Textbook for Foreigners (A1) - (A2), Istanbul Turkish Textbook for Foreigners (A1) - (A2) and Gazi TÖMER's Turkish (A1) - (A2) Basic Textbook for Foreigners" it is aimed to arise the harmony of the visuals in the texts. In this study, document analysis, of the qualitative research methods, was used. The universe of the research was composed of A1 and A2 levels of Turkish education textbooks for foreigners covering the years 2018-2019; The New Hittite Turkish Textbook for Foreigners (A1) - (A2), Istanbul Turkish Textbook for Foreigners (A1) -(A2) and Gazi TÖMER's Turkish for Foreigners (A1) - (A2) Basic Level Textbook. As a result of the study, in order to reveal the harmony of visual and text and the "VisualText Relation Category List" was created. The data collected with this category list were analyzed and interpreted using descriptive analysis approach, one of the qualitative data analysis approaches. In the books examined in general, the visuals of the texts allow the students to guess the texts; they support the title of the texts to which they belong; they are compatible with the content of the text to which they belo ng; the ground-fund relationship is observed in its placement with the text; aesthetic pleasure; and the colors used in the visuals were vivid, clear and remarkable. In the research, it was found that some texts have no title. As a result of the research, some suggestions were made through the findings.
