Abstract (EN)

In this study; a total of 30 bean genotypes were used; 8 Phaseolus acutifolius genotype, 2 P. dumosus genotype, 8 P. coccineus genotype, 5 P. lunatus, 1 P. hybrid, 6 P. vulgaris L. genotype. In addition to determining the phenological, morphological and agronomical characters of these genotypes, it is aimed to show their pollen in a scanning electron microscope (SEM). The days to first flowering are 39-114 days, plant height is 22-355 cm, the number of branches is 1-4, the number of pods per plant is 1-103, the number of seeds per pod was 1-7, pod length is 15,76-62,60 mm, pod width is 2,52- 9.11 mm, pod thickness 1,64-4,99 mm, beak length 1,06-10,38 mm, grain length 1,74-8,96 mm, grain width 1,51-6,10 mm, grain thickness 1,09-4.19 mm, seeds yield was 0,11 to 91,10 g/seed and 100 seeds weight 2,65-55,66 g of bean genotypes. A statistically significant difference (P≤0,01) was founda among the genotypes for all characters except for the number of first flowering days and number of pods per plant among studied characters. Pollen characteristics were studied in a scanning electron microscope (SEM). The results obtained exposed important information about the phenological, morphological, agronomical and pollen characteristics of bean genotypes. According to palynogy research pollen shapes were prolate-sferoidal and ornamentations were reticulate in Phasolus species.
