Abstract (EN)

In this study named as "The Structure and Pattern in Yahya Akengin's Novels" the author's life story and novelist aspect has been introduced by revealing his artictic perspective. At the part of "Introduction" begansfrom Tanzimat Period,The Turkish was analyzed from a general point of view. At the first partsome informations were given aboutauthor's life, nature and works. At the third part, basis of studyhis novels was anlyzed under various titles. The structural analysis of novels were discusged by introducingthe novels. The ways followed in the editing of the works were detectedunder the title of "Chain of Events" and main andintermediate problems that increase tension of novel were presented. The cast of characters were analyzed with "Functions" and "Types" and classified among themselves. While presenting characters, the ways followed by the author were explained with some samples. At the part of "Time", "Place", "Point of View", "Narrator" general evaluationwas done about the ways author followed. Themes were showedunder the main titles of as "Individual and Psychological" and "Social Thems". Each them was divided into subtitles within itself. At the conclusion part, Yahya Akengin's novelist side revealed with the finding about his novels and the obtained informations General evaluation was done about his works.
