Abstract (EN)
Objective: The aim of the first part of the study, which consists of two phases, is to determine the prevalence and the factors affecting the loneliness of elderly women registered to a Family Health Center. The aim of the second part is to evaluate the effects of the interventions carried out according to the Integrative Nursing Principles and Omaha System on the physical, spiritual, social and spiritual health of the elderly. Method: The first stage is a descriptive (296 elderly women), second-stage randomized controlled experimental study. The study was completed with 27 women intervention and 28 in the control group in the second stage. In the first stage, the loneliness of elderly women was determined by the Loneliness Scale for Elderly. In the second stage, the level of physical activity, perception of health status, social support, social inclusion, well-being and level of spirituality were measured at baseline and after 12 weeks. In the second stage, women with high levels of loneliness were assigned to the intervention and control group by randomization. INOSEL program including individual and group interventions according to the Integrative Nursing Principles and Omaha System was applied for 12 weeks. Results: In the first stage, it was found that 25% of elderly women felt very lonely and 8.8% felt very intense loneliness. At the end of the INOSEL program, it was determined that loneliness level decreased, the level of physical activity, perception of health status, social support, social inclusion, well-being and level of spirituality increased in the intervention group. The most common health problems according to the Omaha System; social interaction, interpersonal relations, physical activity, circulation and intestinal function. Interventions categories were 50% health education, guidance and counseling, 27.2% surveillance, 19.4% case management, 3.5% treatment and procedures categories. Conclusion: The interventions planned in line with the Integrative Nursing Principles and Omaha System have positively affected the physical, spiritual, social and spiritual health of elderly women.
