Özet (EN)
The aim of this study is to investigate the relationships between employees' attitudes and perceptions regarding the new coronavirus (COVID-19), sources of motivation, organizational trust, general job satisfaction, and intention to leave. In addition, it is aimed to examine whether the organizational trust variable has a mediating role in the relationship between the attitudes and perceptions of employees about the COVID-19, general job satisfaction and intention to leave. For these purposes, the sample of the research consists of individuals working in the provinces of Istanbul, Ankara, Bolu, Düzce, Konya and Kayseri, aged between 18 and 42, during the COVID-19 epidemic. In the research, the data were accessed online with the convenience sampling method. Within the scope of the research, Perception and Attitude Scales Regarding the New Coronavirus, the Employee Motivation Resources Scale in the COVID-19 Process, and the COVID-19 Readiness Organizational Trust Scale were used. In addition, participants were asked questions on General Job Satisfaction and Intention to Leave. The analyzes have shown that there are significant relationships among some sub-dimensions of the attitudes and perceptions of employees towards COVID-19, sources of motivation, organizational trust, general job satisfaction, and turnover intention during the pandemic period. It was found that there is a negative relationship between organizational trust and general job satisfaction, and a positive relationship between intention to leave. In addition, it was found that there is a negative relationship between general job satisfaction and intention to leave. On the other hand, it has been found that the organizational trust variable has a mediating role in the relationship between job addiction, which is one of the sub-dimensions of motivational resources, and general job satisfaction. The findings obtained as a result of the research were discussed in the light of the relevant literature.
