Application on the factors affecting the voting elements in the local choice: Trabzon Size City Municipality sample

In our work, we will examine how socio-demographics influence voter behavior. Individuals are brought to choose the socio-economic situation with ethnic and demographic characteristics on their voting behavior, and the voters cast their votes on what they are taking. The effect of demographic structure on voting behavior is to determine how it influences voter expectation in this effect. In order to determine this effect, scientific studies based on voter behavior have been examined and explained under three main headings as "sociological approach", "socio-psychological approach" and "economic approach". As a result of this study, the following findings were reached; 1- It can be said that the voters did not realize their expectation as a result of the behaviors they had done and the reality after the election could not be reached. 2- It has been seen that economic policies, which have an important role in voter behavior, have a significant effect on voter behavior and expectations. 3- On the gender basis, expectations among male and female voters differed. 4- Among the age groups, expectations were seen to vary with the movements of voter behavior.
